Re: videojuegos
There was one TA modder whose name I can't remember (cool story tj) but he churned out some fantastic stuff. The best was the modern Russian aircraft pack...the fighters were 4-5 times the size of normal ones and armed w/ the same cannons as a Flash and those heavy, vertical SSMs turned into AAMs. ...

Re: Avatar: The Legend of Korra
Alright. So I think that leaves us with green and purple for things intended to be anthropomorphized good or evil. Maybe blue? I can't think of any ethnicities that might be associated with those colours.
What about light/shadow or day/night rather than white/black? How would you present those?

Re: Avatar: The Legend of Korra
What is it about the concept "order = good" that's problematic to you? I'm not sure that the darkness is necessarily chaotic in this case anyhow. The first thing dark spirits do is attack humans relentlessly. They don't appear to attack each other at all. I'm honestly not sure what the iss...

Re: Avatar: The Legend of Korra
That's fair.
I can see the issue with black = evil, white = good but what's the issue with order = good, chaos = evil?
I admit I expected both the spirits to be colossal dicks that the Avatar somehow conned into taking their fight elsewhere.

Good white order vs evil black chaos sounds like a positive addition. I wish the great spirits didn't look like giant flying carpets though.

When men say that they “love to see the woman underneath the makeup,” they’re not saying they want to see your leg stubble and greasy bangs—they’re saying they want you to be better at hiding your maintenance routine. Because the maintenance spoils the fantasy. How did you get from "you don't ...

Re: Lament 3: Cry Hard With A Vengeance
My sister's boyfriend is pathetic.
She walks over to his house and then asks me to come pick her up after because he can't drive a car. They're 21.
What the fuck she sees in him I haven't the slightest fucking clue. He doesn't even have a job! He isn't going to school!

A different brand of loony toon, yeah.
That said I don't like the liberals either.
Or hell, the NDP even.
I might end up voting Green, but I hear they're on the economic right.
btw, all thoughtless jabs aside, next time you're in Toronto we can grab a pint or two, my treat.

Garmin's pretty good. I'd just use Google Maps if you have a smart phone, though, since its free and provides all the relevant services plus transit maps. When I had a smart phone, I always had problems with Google Maps. The signal would be lost. It'd take me the longer way. I'd be sent to the wron...
