Re: videojuegos

I know i'm late to the bandwagon, but god damn Titanfall is fucking awesome.

I really needed my fix of awesome mech action too, since Macross Delta turned out to be completely fucking lame.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament

They killed Ziva offscreen since they couldn't get her actor back, and the new head mossad lady reveals that Ziva and Tony did the nasty before she left for Israel, producing a daughter named Tali. For some reason Tony wasn't informed of this but since Ziva's dead he quit to go do the single dad thi...

Wow. NCIS handled Michael Wetherly's departure exactly how I thought they would. Exactly.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament

thanks. Her oncologist is a surgeon too, and has flat out stated that if it needs to be replaced, he's doing it this time rather than referring it to someone else.

He was the one who cut the original tumor out btw

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament

In other news, the Hospital may have incorrectly placed the stomach port for my mom's chemo a second time. Same surgeon too.

The area around the port is red and swollen, and she may not be able to get chemo through it until she has another surgery to fix it!

Re: videojuegos

Don't get me wrong. I love Multi, when I have a reliable staple of friends to play with. I put plenty of hours into Halo: Reach, Halo 4, Counter-Strike, etc. The issue with the new Battlefront is that i've never been able to build that kind of player group with a Dice game before. All of my IRL frie...

Re: videojuegos

Which nebulous "people" are you referring to? How do you "know" it will be 3-4 hours worth of content? How do you "know" it wont be repeatable? It's what all the rumors are saying, and rumors are all I have to go on since DICE has said nothing about the single player c...

Re: videojuegos

Like all three of Battlefront's presentations explicitly stated--multiple times--that there was going to be a single-player experience. Ah yes. The "Missions" feature, which people are saying will be 3-4 hours worth of content at the most. For someone who spent countless hours playing Gal...

Re: videojuegos

E3 was pretty rad this year. Fallout 4, new Mass Effect, Doom 4 gameplay trailers, and the XBONE's getting backwards compatibility.

Only disappointment thus far is the new Star Wars Battlefront since DICE is going multi only with it.

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories

You know now that I think about it, the XBOX 360/PS3 console generation didn't really have a great Star Wars game did it? Every other generation I can think of had one. SNES had Super Star Wars, N64 had Rogue Squadron, XBOX/PS2 had Kotor, Battlefront, etc. But not this generation. Come to think of i...

So I just finished Spec Ops: The Line, and while I don't personally agree that it's calling you a horrible person if you enjoy modern military shooters like CoD, I can certainly see how many people got that impression.

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories

I've heard rumblings that the "Mission" mode will essentially be the same as the Instant Action mode from the old Battlefront games. If that turns out to be the case, I can live without a campaign. In other news, here is a summary of a panel regarding the new canon policy from SW Celebrati...

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories

And mine dissipates Lack of single player upsets me. I can still play BattleFront 1 and 2 today, years after the servers have been shut down, just because they have galactic conquest and instant action. This is going to be multi only, with the typical price-gouged expansion bullshit. I guess DICE wo...

I'm just curious to see where they go with it. All the dangling plot threads from WaW/blops were wrapped up in blops2.
