Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
The issue is that I suck at whiteboard tests, which shouldn't even be a thing. The real world does'nt work like that: I don't have five people watching me code a feature I was tasked with. I understand it's supposed to "demonstrate" how I think things through. I fail because I have people ...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Shit just keeps getting worse for me. I'm not getting interviews for jobs in the CS field, not even for internships. I've had recruiters contact me only to find out that I am not qualified because I do not know a single piece of software (Selenium) that I could learn easily. My stepfather wants me o...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Thanks, Bounty. I figured out what happens to me: I don't sit down and plan out the code. I just start. I've been doing Code Wars to gain more experience and one problem had me transfixed when I thought I solved it. After thinking a while I realized I had to do more things. A function has to take in...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
I've been doubting my coding skills a lot over the past few months and really don;t think I'll make it in the CS field. I can't even pass data structures. I don't know what's wrong with me.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
In the past few weeks, I broke up with my girlfriend, moved back in with my parents, totaled my car and now have no way to get around, quit my job after checking myself into a mental hospital. It's been really rough.

Goddamn. There are literally no 3DSes to buy this holiday season. I missed the Black Friday special because supply was limited and scalpers grabbed them all, so I'm stuck getting the New Nintendo 3DS XL. None can be found for reasonable or original price. Bah!

Re: videojuegos
I got it and like, it looks good, it plays well, the concept is half decent and executed well, but after an hour and a half I'm bored out of my skull. I wish I'd bought Disgaea 5 instead. Were you playing in a squad? Playing with people who are at higher ranks than you to make it more difficult? Di...

Re: Dumping Ground for Coding Issues
Rant: WHy the hell does my school teach Java for two classes and then switch to C++ for data structures? It's difficult going from a newer language to an older. I'm getting the hang of OOP with C++ and classes, but it's difficult.
I willl say this: it feels like I am coding when I'm using C++.
