heh. 'Battlelines' from DS9.
Bashir: Commander? You should see this!
Sisko: What's the problem Doctor?
Darn right

Re: Trek Thread
WYLB was fine until it became a clip show then had to wrap up the stupid Pah-Wraith plot.
I maybe in error but I don't recall any of the 'characters moving on' actually flowing from anything in previous episodes.

Even STID in it's cold opening actually showed the downside of interference.

Re: Trek Thread
I only saw most of it in the last year. Still haven't seem S5, or the movies, or Crusade.
TBH it's one of those shows SFDebris make sound much more awesome that it is to watch. I notice the same thing with episodes of Doctor Who he likes and I don't.

Re: Trek Thread
I'm actually surprised to find there are bits of Trek you don't like ;) Enterprise didn't endear itself right out the gate with the prequel bit. Too reminiscent of what Star Wars was doing and too much potential for nitpickery. To an overthinker the name rankles as well. It's sort of have your cake ...

Re: Trek Thread
They should have returned home at the end of s6 or halfway through s7 and then done a lot of coda episodes about them being home.

Re: videojuegos
SRIV, is like SR3 to me. It's a flawed and worse than its predecessor and yet somehow I'm still playing and more or less enjoying it.
It's still a stripped down version of sr3 melded with a mediocre clone of inFAMOUS though

Someone must have correct their science. Ret-cons for the win.
Same as the 'i've never flown at transwarp' line from Tom Paris, breaker of the transwarp barrier.

Seriously. I'm not seeing a robot. Or tactical espionage action.
Never got into that 'operations' shite.
edit: I got a ps3 for mgs4, not got a ps4 or xbone for mgs v or me:andromeda

Re: Trek Thread
Wow, even for a teaser that CGI is shit. They could have made the video in Goddamn STO and it would look 100x better than that. And the design is just...bleh. From some angles it looks merely decent, but in other angles it's pretty poopy. The story, characters and acting had better be fucking top n...

Rise Dead Trek thread.
There's a movie coming up! Are we excited?
Also all six series are on Netflix UK. I've been meaning to watch early ds9.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
The idea that Jeremy Corbyn is going to make it out unscathed and start some kind of revolution is absurd. His MPs hate him. As is the idea that destabilising the global economy is somehow a good thing. Nor do I see how this result which will initially throw power to the far right is going to lead t...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
I'm pretty sure it made like eighty bazillion dollars in the box office so people have to see what they're complaining about though. Half the reason I saw SW7 or BvS. :ugeek: AoU was pretty popular. Then again so was Guardians of the Galaxy and I felt that was overhyped and underwhelming too sooo.....
