Re: videojuegos

I find MP hate to be silly. It's not my first preference and I do prefer gaming alone for the most part, but I won't kick a game out of bed because it has multi.

Re: videojuegos

PUGs are highly variable but when I think of multiplayer I first think 'Gosh that looks like fun to play with my friends.'

Re: videojuegos

I love the Destroyer as well. Really fun to play with a Lancer. I haven't played co-op in a while. I basically rage quit after spending like 10-30 million co-op credits trying to unlock the space ninja and not getting it. Yeah the unlock system is straight up bullshit. I've gotten to the point where...

Re: videojuegos

I haven't played them (yet) but from what I hear Citadel is basically mandatory, so is From Ashes, Leviathan as well because it helps set up the ending in ways that lead most to think 'well why is this even DLC and not actually part of the main game', and Omega is just rubbish. Omega is one of those...

Re: Trek Thread

sure there are peopke who dislike ds9 (i'm one of them), but i don't recall anyone talking shit about the sisko in particular, rather than just 'it's too dark for trek' pr 'it's trying too hard to be dark and ~complex~' Maybe, but the impression I got from the link is the author was conflating crit...

Re: Trek Thread

That hasn't been my experience. DS9 wasn't entirely well-received. Neither was Voyager but I doubt that's a controversial statement. It's important to note that Sisko does a lot of questionable things, and doesn't really suffer harsh (or any) consequences for it. Janeway does as well, and again does...

Re: Trek Thread

That's a very interesting perspective jester. Says something about the power of popculture. Star Trek was a huge influence on me growing up. Particularly Spock. His stoicism and calm rationality conflicting with powerful emotions really resonated with me, and I doubt I'm the only introverted geek to...

Yep. Who knew by cutting funding to technical schools you see the supply side of the trades shrink which means they get to command higher prices because demand remains the same.
