Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories
Started reading "Crucible" today. It's kind of sad to think that this is the last time I'll ever read an adventure featuring jaina solo or Ben Skywalker.

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories
Supposedly it ended up being too expensive, to the tune of around 50$ million an episode. Which was solely because Lucas was not willing to scale the effects down to a reasonable T.V. budget. So that never came to pass. Now the two aspects of the Star Wars franchise actually geared towards adult fan...

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories
So I saw the preview for Star Wars: Rebels. Sadly it looks as though this show will continue every trend I despised about TCW. Pathetically incompetent villains, mooks missing shots a ten year old with down's syndrome could make, and utterly half assed attempts at humor. TCW only rarely managed to r...

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories
So apparently they're making a novel that focuses on Quinlan Vos and Assaj Ventress based on unused TCW material, to be written by Christie Golden. I'm really "meh" on the whole thing. I didn't care much for her FotJ novels, and I really don't like Vos' portrayal in TCW. In the Republic co...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Had a conversation with a friend about Obama care last week. Apparently the employer provided option that his dad can actually afford doesn't meet the standard required by the government and he still has to pay the tax penalty. To top that off, he can't get any tax credits for health care because he...

Re: videojuegos
The absurd grind-heavy nature of the "Secret Armory" DLC. Specifically that I have to re-fight general Knoxx twice after I killed him in the main story to complete post-game missions.

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories
So the new Rebels trailer showcases an Imperial Security Bureau agent with absurd sideburns. They seem to be taking a lot of stuff from the old WEG material for this. Inquisitors, the ISB, and there have been hints that they'll show the Imperial army as a separate branch to the Stormtrooper corps. I...

The only down side is that working full time probably won't allow me to start taking three or four classes a semester again like i'd hoped, so It might slow up my completion of school.

Yep. My last day there is tomorrow. For the forseeable future I will have Full free medical coverage, 401K matching up to 15% of my wages, and 1000$ a year of tuition reimbursement.

Re: videojuegos
Alright. I've been dancing around it for ages, but i've decided I'm finally going to go back and finish Oblivion, Fallout 3, and all of their DLC. Unfortunatly I don't know how long it will take me to do this as I am about to start a full time job as a security guard and go to school at the same time.

Does that mean either Spock or Sarek was in favor of going to war against the Cardassians?

God now i'm looking for it, and I can't remember the name of the anime-specific torrent site I use. Why the hell can't I remember it? I used it not two weeks ago to get the first episode of Nobunaga the fool.

Re: Weeaboo shit thread
Given some of the people here have been squealing about it like little girls for months, I'm guessing they know more about where to find it than you do. Sadly for my Animu viewing habits, it doesn't looks like there's really anything interesting (to me at least, I know lots of you are going ga-ga ov...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Ugh. I really hope this security guard gig comes through fast. I don't think I can take working at Mc'donalds anymore. I come home covered in grease and sweat every day, the customers think they're entitled to treat anyone not wearing a manager's uniform like shit, and today I was stuck at the back ...
