Re: TFA spoilers und summary
Being the son of Force Jesus and having magic powers he possesses through no particular virtue of his own. ANH ruined Star Wars. It should have focused on the true hero: Wedge. An ordinary guy from the Bronx who just did his best to support the team without seeking any glory for himself and found i...

Re: TFA spoilers und summary
Luke could read and interpret the Bible Force himself, without the priests Jedi council telling him what it really said. In a sense, he is the common man relying on his own faith, even if it is extraordinary among the common folks, rather than the chosen elite relying on his organized church authori...

Re: Dumping Ground for Coding Issues
C++ was started before Java, but both are still actively changing so modern C++ isn't really much older than modern Java....
But the reason is probably that C++ offers more capabilities to really get into the structures' details than Java does. A lot of schools make that transition.

Re: Let's Big Orange this shit: rank the Trek movies!
There's more to the character than that. Where's Kirk the introspective philosopher, the guy who could argue with Spock not about logic but about the right thing to do? Where's Kirk the Commander who has to deal with his decisions leading people potentially to their death? Where's Kirk the magician...

Re: Let's Big Orange this shit: rank the Trek movies!
Galaxy Quest really is actually pretty decent. But my list would prolly be: The Voyage Home The Wrath of Khan The Undiscovered Country The Motion Picture The Search for Spock First Contact eh prolly Generations, and Final Frontier, then Nemesis, and Insurrection, though my opinion of all four is bas...

Re: Dumping Ground for Coding Issues
OOP was overrated for a while, called the best thing ever that solves all problems (around the time Java was created...), but nowadays I think it is underrated. Sure, it doesn't solve everything, but it does solve a bunch of things. Exceptions just kinda rock, I love them. Are you going into more th...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Marriage is already becoming less common; people don't feel it is necessary or desirable in their lives. If homosexuals couldn't get married at all, they'd surely continue living their lives without it - demonstrating that it isn't that important. So when someone is comtemplating marriage they might...

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
i actually complained out loud about the whole anti gay marriage nonsense. like i really don't understand why people even care, if anything, this *protects* 'traditional' marriage by not rendering it obsolete by a larger group of people!

I'll certainly give blops3 a try, I think Treyarch does a decent job.
I actually don't hate AW either, but blops2 is the only one I've played that I actually like enough to own...
