Yeah, I think that had more to do with him pissing off DW than the whole scientist thing. Hell as noted it was apparently something he'd been doing for some time, but apparently not relevant enough to ban him for it when it happened. It was only after he got banned for pissing off Darth Wong that it...

Besides, who would ever lie about being something boring, like a lawyer or doctor? :v But seriously, how often do those two really become relevant? At least in a way that wouldn't be painfully obvious in about 30 seconds? But hey, they clearly want to ban him but I guess don't have any better reason...

Of course the drama that prompted SV's split was more important to more people than the Testingpocolypse on SDN, so they got more members than we did.

see, to my mind, the way to short-circuit non-provided answers would be to say "attempting to derail the train or repair the brakes or take any action besides the ones provided to you will, with absolute certainty, cause the train to crash into and painfully maim and kill busloads of innocent ...

I didn't say it was a bad concept (except for y'know shitty EU authors ) but it'll be nice to see a different concept play out now that they have a blank canvas to work with.Stofsk wrote:I actually really liked the collapse into Warlordism that the post-RotJ EU had.

Wonder what the New Empire will be like, then. Also the explanation for why Luke retreated from the galaxy. It's an interesting premise, I'll grant, and has me intrigued. Don't know about the Empire thing, but if they get a competent enough actor to play a convincing villain I can roll with it. It w...

This basically sums up my thoughts as well. I loved Twilight's struggle in this one and the songs were fantastic.Ralin wrote:It was much better than the first one. Far fewer high school tropes, more singing and a decent story and villain.

Speaking of which, I bought Alpha Centauri on GOG finally. And have found it's largely the same thing.
Like, I know there's options and other stuff to click but I literally have no idea what any of it means so I just End Turn and hope for the best.

Re: Share your favorite Star Wars memories
I don't know what they can do with Luke's character but the options are limited. He'll either pass the torch on to the next generation and pull an Obi-wan, or he'll become the bad guy and will need to be redeemed. Any other alternative risks cheapening the plot tension because at that age Luke shou...
