Re: veef still <3 robot toys
The only stores out here that carry robits are greasy comic shops or weeabo collector palaces full of hello kittens and $20 stamped katanas.
Is there like a chain of 'we only carry cool robits' stores in america, or do I just have to get lucky?

Re: veef still <3 robot toys
That robit with the blue angels colors looks like it could kick apart... I don't know, but I'm sure whatever it kicked would be dramatically significant to the story.
Man, most of these are waaaay cooler than the robit toys I see in, like, stores.

Re: btech
But come on, Battletech Pods, does anyone else have memories of playing? Okay, so I've narrowed it down My two favorite parts of btech are 1) assigning narrative to what just happened while playing megamek (Gary 7 valorously rammed his truck into the Warhammer's foot. He died instantly, warhammer u...

Re: btech
"Group fire"? What the hell?
Every memory I ever had of MechWarrior 2 is "Anhkmped-fire, engaged."
I don't get it.
EDIT: Oh, you're playing Mercenaries. That has to be the reason.

Re: btech
Uh, none, I guess. That's a good point. My favorite parts of btech are the narrative I assign to actions and their consequences during btech turns.
Honestly I'd happily take recommendations.

Re: btech
Well I'm not actually a btech nerd in the sense of 'hex based warfare combat in the 31st millenium'. I mean, I've enjoyed megamek a few times, but I don't actually know any of the rules or played enough to experience/care about balance issues. I'm mostly in it for the aesthetics and flavor, and the ...

Re: btech
You know, I understand all the problems btech has and how ridiculous and stupid it is. I still really like it :? . It's very medieval, and I think I accept it more readily because in my mind it's like a bunch of backwards feudal era 'knights' who didn't understand when to stop adding on the plate ma...
