i just had another spider in the door thing

happened i think three times now. i open my door in the morning, and a couple spiders fall out

they must think it (there's a gap on the outside part of the door) is the perfect overnight nest. i imagine they are laying eggs, the webby things look like sacs

Don't dis spiders*, they are fucking adorable. We have at least three zebra-spiders living in our bathroom, I say 'hi' to them every morning. Since they're a type of jumping-spider, they have some of the best binocular vision among all arthropods, which means when I wave at them, they'll turn to face me and wave their pedipalps back. They're like cool, tiny roomies that eat pests and don't leave a mess.

*unless your door spiders are brown recluses. In that case it's way safer for you and everyone else there to remove or kill them.

idk what kind of spider they are but my general policy toward spiders is live and let live

there was one outside the door that would spin some beautiful webs between the pole thing and my snow shovel

the rising sun would give it a really good lighting

I'd heard bad things about Kingdom of Heaven, and I hated Gladiator so I skipped it. I may have to pick up a bluray of the directors cut and suffer through the PC bullshit. I still wanna watch my Troy DC bluray since it was awesome and it's a fucking crime they butchered that brilliant movie in the editing bay for the theatrical release.

it was more decent people vs assholes

that's how i saw it, anyway

saladin treats orlando bloom decently because orlando bloom is a decent guy, from the start

he's earned their respect

whereas the assholes get treated like shit, or only given the minimum of respect they deserve due to their position

and that's like the idea of respecting the rank, not the man

Showing Muslims as protagonists or just anti-heroes was a big deal after 9/11. They changed entire movie plots to avoid even mentioning muslims IE Sum of all Fears which had BAD EUROTRASH FASCISTS as the enemy rather than the Muslim terrorists from the book.
