The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
Re: The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
Sometimes in the movies you see people breathing in a paper bag (probably to lower the level of oxygen in the air breathed or something like that). Is that the kind of breathing exercises you are talking about, or something more along the lines of sophrology / yoga ?
No.
Re: The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
Breathing in a bag is against hyperventilating. It's what you do when you already have a panic attack and don't want to pass out.

Bounty's right. I don't remember exactly why it helps, but I'd guess something to do with making your hypercarbic drive kick in and restore a normal breathing pattern.
Your other question: I don't know much about yoga or what sophrology is, i just basically use meditation techniques from when I was more into Zen Buddhism.

I was told I was the cause of panic attacks for someone and I didn't really know how to take this news
Mind you this was someone who vaguely threatened self harm because I wouldn't sleep with her
And I didn't really know how to take that either

These are key words I'm working to take on board at the moment. More on that in another thread... And I'll be very interested in what you make of it(work related)starku wrote:Gotta control your lifezone you dig me

I went almost 13 months being pain free. And it all comes back. It's time to see the GI doctor. I hope they give me shit about paying off a debt. I want to take it out on someone.

Re: The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
They gave me shit and denied a promise I was given back in February that I could see the doctor if I paid half of my balance. I did pay half of the balance. The incompetent assholes didn't make a note on my account, so now they want $200 up front to make an appointment. So, I'll just stay in pain so I can have the hospital fit the bill when I inevitably go to the ER.Knubble tov wrote:I went almost 13 months being pain free. And it all comes back. Hopefully I'll have a health emergency next year when I don't have health insurance so they'll pay tens of thousands because I have no steady income at the moment.

Obviously Tucker Obamacare has destroyed your life and you need to accept Christ as your savior. Maybe consider wearing your 24/7 mandatory flag pin for your shirt.
Oh and I have good segue for this but what's your avatar picture?

It's from the TV series Modern Family. That dude is talking to a mother a playcare center and he asks her if she saw any movies lately. She saw Mama Mia with Meryl Streep, but she didn't like the performance. That's his reaction.Darth Fanboy wrote:Obviously Tucker Obamacare has destroyed your life and you need to accept Christ as your savior. He finds her opinion insulting. There's a cut away to him ranting about how good Streep is. He mentions Sophie's Choice.

Watching Desperado.
I haven't seen it since I was twelve. I forgot how much fun it was.

It was 88F in my house this morning when I woke up. I slept, but I didn't get much rest out of it and I feel like crap as a result. The Spartan wrote:Fucking A/C's on the fritz. Got the repair guy coming out tomorrow morning.

Well, it's fixed now. The fan motor on the unit outside burned out so the tech replaced it and all is well now.

I think Meryl Streep would make a great Doctor Who

If it comes back without dice and an 8-ball shifter knob then you've been had.

lol 4300 for a turbo
i didn't know the turbo had gone out
it upsets me on some level because this was the truck i spent most of 09 driving
and i had great pride in my uptime and quiet power outperforming every other unit
it's around 350k now tho so i guess it's due for its share of breakdowns now
