HUGE GIGANTIC SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3 OPENING BEHIND SPOILER BOX YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
MAJOR spoilers, obviously. Also if you've got The Hub On Demand you could watch it on your TV, so it's not a straight-up leak or anything.

To recap what I said about this on SDN:

I won't post spoilers, but all I can say is that I am excited for the premiere. Just seeing what little I did has me majorly psyched up. The music, the promise of the story, the voice-acting and the visuals (my God the visuals) are just plain awesome.

I fully predict there will be a lot to discuss once this has aired. :flagg:

Two more weeks is far too long to wait.

There, I hid the link in a spoiler box so you'll have to get through two clicks to see it.

And yeah, I tried to be good too. But I couldn't.

My willpower was too weak. *smirk*

Ok, can one of you idjiits confirm what a friend told me, that they're basically doing Wrath of the Pony Lich king for the new season of this show? Because that kind of attempted nerd pandering would be fucking hilarious.

I don't even know Wrath of the Lich King itself (WoW right?) so I couldn't tell you even after it aired. :v

*shrug* From what I've seen so far, it looks like an Epic Adventure episode. Which given they've opened the other two seasons like that is hardly nerd pandering.

As far as story details we'll just have to wait until Saturday to find out.

darksider, they had Q as the bad guy for the S2 opening, does that count as 'nerd-pandering'?

IIRC John De lancie is actually a rather decent voice actor so only partially.

Pretty sure they were just indulging their own nerdiness with him. I mean it's fairly obvious they're nerds themselves.

Not yet, just finished airing about an hour ago.

Why don't you go to one of the many streams listed on EqD during the air time if you don't have The Hub or whatever?

Making a show where the young adult males who already have 75% of television directed at them threaten to become the primary audience probably wasn't the intent, though.

it's only a problem if they start pandering to that audience
but if they did that it would probably lose the magic & die.
