My Little Pony: Gak is Back
Re: The Glue Factory
Just got around to watching it, that was great.
Celestia: I barely even know anything about it... there was an uprising-
*flashback where Celestia and Luna roll on a fool*
I loved that Spike got to do something for once. Also how Twilight was all 'I need to test this door... Spike, stand here please'. Celestia and Luna were cool too, they felt all mysterious and whatnot. But geez, Rainbow Dash is getting kind of obnoxious, I think they need to tone her down a little.

Re: The Glue Factory
just me or have they gone overboard with the songs in the last four episodes?
episode was kinda meh. And luna was grumpy. Poor Luna.

To the Brave passengers and crew of the Kobayashi Maru... Sucks to be you
Re: The Glue Factory
Luna seemed to be kept in character from the Nightmare NIght episode, and I like it that they gave her this kind of personality. I have this "mythology" about the princesses :
If Celestia is the Mother and the Shield (Guard) ; Luna is the Woman and the Sword (Act).
Like, I see Celestia as a life-giving goddess like Demeter and Luna more as "huntress" like Diana or something like that.
Edit : And Twilight would be Athena

No.
Re: The Glue Factory
Well, Luna has less experience with Twilight and the Mane Six, so it would make sense that she's probably not as confident as Celestia is in her student. That and maybe her being way more old school and thinking that such a Major Threat should be handled by, well, somebody who isn't a student. So I think it fits.
As for songs, I like them. So there's no such thing as overboard there. Shit they could do a musical episode and I'd love it.

Re: The Glue Factory

Dear Princess Celestia,
I'm just writing to check up on the murder laws: clones still don't count, right?
Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle
To my Faithful student,
Of course clones don't count; they don't even have souls!
Your merciful god-princess, Celestia

re the animated gif :
it just goes to show how rotten my mind is that I had the same idea just as I saw the episode.

Re: The Glue Factory
There are some horrible people in this fandom, and they create things that should not be created. Like that picture, for instance.
I mean seriously, where the fuck is Pinkie Pie's cutie mark on her dress? Jesus, some people just don't get this show at all...

Re: The Glue Factory
Anyway, that episode...
If there was ever an episode other than the Villain ones that offered opportunities to write Sad and/or Grimdark fanfics, it's this one.
I mean, shit, IIRC in the actual episode Pinkie wondered out loud by the end of it if she was really herself.
