Though I must say Win8 is a pain in the ass on a laptop. Four separate motions to turn off the bitch? Please. Win8 makes me miss the ease of Vista. Apple has a temp lead in the OS war. This from a guy who doesn't like Apple.

Lol so I'm reading a random old thread on TSW on SB right now
stories about the amazing American military literally killing Satan and literally dropping a nuclear weapon on Jesus.
So God [...] was killed by a song-powered, brothel-running archangel in a grand magic battle in the middle of Heaven.
I want to know where he was going to go after killing God in an epic rap battle.

today a nice young man offered to inject nanotechnology into my bloodstream

I mean I had to turn him down because my system architecture already uses it but still

genuinely curious as to who actually said this or that tablets were the greatest at everything ever
many people do that. here's one i still had in my history

as for the second, i'm sure you can find that sentiment in comments all over the internet, but what i'm amused by is industry hype of the kind "tablets will completely replace laptops/pcs in 2-5 years says chart" and the people who join in

the same people who say game consoles will be replaced by smart tvs next year because they would be a crappier pc i guess? (or because they think people will replace their desktops with a tv/tablet combo?)

unfortunately also the same people who decide what games to spend development money on :whine:

I still say : keep the basic premise, write it decently, and it would be an AWESOME story.

Maybe one day I'll work on that ? Could be amusing. Even as a beginner probabilities are high I'd manage to do at least marginally better :v

it probably tastes like blood and sweat and gunpowder or something.

which is probably why nobody's drinking it.
Losonti Tokash wrote:because it's delicious and if you ever get the chance i highly recommend berry lemonade or strawberry lime
Ah, cool. I'll have to give it a try some time.

Say, do you like rum? Bacardi makes these premixed rum and coke cans that are pretty good. They may only make them in the summer though.

I find the clear rums a bit more agreeable than the brown ones.

I'm sticking with Windows 7. Unless they come out with "Win7 Mode" on 8 sometime.
