Describes what capitalism does to all of us pretty well, I think.

And now Chris Metzen from Blizzard is on the stage. Looks like Blizzard's branching out from the PC.

what's going on with wisneau's body

looks like he's been dipped in acid

also that scene at the end where he makes love to a sheet
Funfact: They had to use the same footage for both Wiseau sex-scenes because the actress flat-out refused to do more than one scene with him.

Sandy wasn't charged because he had a proper concealed weapons permit, The Tampa Tribune reported.
Apparently storing your weapon magazine in an oven is totally legally and reasonable even when it leads to some being injured? :america:

That's a bad sentence. The actual article says this:

"No charges were filed. Sandy, who works at a Wal-Mart store, has no criminal record and a concealed weapons permit."

Two seperate sentences, the story didn't say his CCW had anything to do with why he wasn't charged. As for why he wasn't charged, I dunno. It was only superficial injuries, and I would guess that his friend wouldn't press charges.

Could you cite a law he actually violated?

I think the point is more that its a failing of the law that he hasn't violated it by storing explosives in an oven.

Why? You can use whatever emotive language you want, but this is not a great and terrible danger to the public here; as the article points out, it's been shown (yay MythBusters) that the risk of injury is pretty minor. And the woman who was hurt was able to take the bus to a hospital and had only superficial injuries, which would seem to support that. So would it have been really worth it to charge him and take up the police officer's time to do so?

are you seriously arguing that he shouldn't even be fined for storing bullets in an oven or are you just playing devil's advocate

That sounds like a pretty terrible idea, especially since you've got kids and all

What purpose would fining them serve?

Is there some wave of people storing bullets in ovens that I'm not aware of? I think having them go off in your oven without serious injury is the kind of lesson that sticks with you.

Yeah. That's brilliant reasoning. I guess We shouldn't prosecute negligent parents either? After all if they've lost their child they've been punished enough!

edit: I'm guess there isn't some great epidemic of bullets being stored in ovens though you're right. But there shouldn't be a law saying 'you may not store ammo in an oven'

you have a law saying 'you must store ammo safely' and then define 'safely'. locksafe. Cool area away from fires whatever.

you don't go after a person specifically to scare people off keeping bullets in ovens but to scare people away from all sorts of unsafe practises at once.

you cover it with safe storage laws, not "keep it out of an oven" laws
