I just agreed to pay $700 for a pair of floor seats to the JAY Z/Justin Timberlake concert in Vancouver. Either I take three days and drive out day before, day after, which would knock TWR out of the week, or I fly out day of and fly back morning after, knocking out afternoon Wednesday, and Thursday. And if I'm flying that's another grand in flights, probably.

$433 for a round trip, giving me most of a day to visit family/see Vancouver too. x2 of course.

And if my sister doesn't want to go/can't, the other person off the top of my head that I'd ask, would probably not pay for a flight out, even if I convinced her to let me pay for her concert ticket. Because that's reasonable, if you want to see a show and don't want to go alone, I feel. But I ain't paying flights too.

I didn't really follow the case, but that's still a surprising verdict based on the summary.

Dude, the prosecution was the definition of incompetance.

It was still an open and shut case based on the 911 calls alone. Zimmerman (who has a history of phoning in young black men for merely passing through his neighbourhood) profiled Martin, pursued him, confronted him, then murdered him. It's as simple as that.

Reasonable doubt was always on the table given the circumstances and the prosecution failing to keep it's own witnesses in line and get a solid narrative sold to the jury means no one should be surprised by this verdict.
