The DS9 writing staff had a running joke with a semi-annual "O'Brien Must Suffer" episode. Among these were "Whispers", "Tribunal", "Visionary", "Hard Time", "Honor Among Thieves" and "Prodigal Daughter". So, rewatching Trek movies. Good times.
First Contact has the best opening theme of them all, for reals:

So, speaking of the movies, does anyone else think TWoK is overrated? Is it a good movie? Sure. But best Trek movie? I don't think so. TBH, TVH and/or TUC are better than TWoK, meme-ness of KHAAAAAN aside. And I also kinda place FC above TWoK now.
EDIT: So I totally went over that already. Whoops. :oops:
But I left the FC > TWoK comment because that's actually new. And I totally stand by it.
The uniforms first introduced in the movie are still the best Starfleet uniforms I have ever seen come from the canon, though. For reals.

depends on how sophisticated the power system on a phaser is
unless it has some type of compensation thingy where it distributes power to the outer parts of the beam so it keeps up then probably
