I'm not sure you quite understand.

There's the Director's Edition, which is better edited (but they murdered the sound effects),

the original, theatrical cut, which is widely considered to have severe pacing issues and runs long,

...and then there's the "we scavenged and inserted another ~17 minutes of footage" ABC television cut which was later sold on VHS as a special longer edition, which includes literally incomplete footage (seriously there's a shot of Kirk exiting the Enterprise in a spacesuit, and the scene cuts to a long shot which shows the scaffolding where there should have been a matte painting insert).

I meant the original theatrical cut. Who in his right mind watches the ABC version?

And I seriously do not mind the DE's sound effects. The only thing I think they should have kept is the scene on Epsilon IX where they intercept the Klingons' report.

so the documentation says "use the quantum command". first off, what the fuck kind of name is quantum? commands like cp and ls and shit kinda suck but at least they make some sense too (cp = copy, ls = list files)

secondly apparently they changed the name from 'quantum' to 'neutron'. yay more arbitrary bullshit. but they never updated the docs

i hate this crap. if i just did it myself, i'd be done by now (and i think i'm going to be doing it myself anyway, because this UI is so awful i have no doubt they're going to want me to do my own skin on this. i got news for them, unless at least $1,000 are in my hands up front, i'm not going any further with this piece of shit, i'm fed up with it already)

Why did you think I was criticizing that guy and not the people who assaulted him?

I've been contemplating Disney and the post-domestic bestiary a bunch of late. It's interesting stuff, and I'm probably going to try and write something about it in the near future.

the guy who got beaten up is a friend of a friend and i thought i was being obvious in my frustration that gay bashing is still a relatively common occurrence

This should be entertaining.

The one from yesterday is literally about a game called Ladies and Gentlemen which is one of the most seemingly feminist games I've seen in some time.
