Even taking into account that this stuff has been selected specifically for the PVs, that is charisma to the max. If it looks familiar to any of you, it might be because Wizard Barristers is directed by Umetsu Yasuomi who was behind Mezzo, Mezzo Forte and Kite. Also Galilei Donna, though that isn't so visually reminiscent.

Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil takes place in Tokyo in 2018, where people who use magic have integrated into normal life. As a result, there are laws against using magic, and a "magic courtroom" exists to preside over lawsuits regarding magic use. In these cases, "Benmashi" - wizard barristers, natch - defend those who use magic. The show follows Cecil Sudo, an associate at Tokyo Ueno Butterfly Law, the youngest Benmashi in history, and her colleagues as they represent clients.

Because I forgot to mention it on SB, 'benmashi' is actually a silly pun on 'bengoshi' (ie. 'advocate').

The aforementioned protagonist, Sudo Cecil. Voiced by Tanabe Rui who hasn't been in much. 'Hasn't been in much' describes much of the voice cast lol



22 year old Hotaru Natsuna, another rookie Benmashi, voiced by Shindou Kei.



Chono Ageha, a 32 year old senior partner at Tokyo Ueno Butterfly Law. Voiced by Tsunematsu Ayumi.



Touchi Hiroki will play 27 year old Hachiya Mitsuhisa. He is a courtroom terminator. What the shit!



Azu-nyan Taketatsu Ayana will play 21 year old Tento Moyo. She is a paralegal at Tokyo Ueno. That's more normal.



Sasori Koromo, a 24 year old associate voiced by Ookubo Rumi. Kazuki Ferrari realised her elder sister's dream!



Arakawa Miho will play 23 year old Kabutohara Tsunomi, an airheaded associate who does things at her own pace.



Ageha's younger brother Seseri, another senior partner. He is apparently an 'unexpected gentlemen'. Voiced by Takagi Wataru.



Erari Quinn, career cop, who I believe specialises in magical crimes. She is voiced by Inoue Marina.



Finally, Sameoka Kiba, from rival law firm Shark Knight. He is voiced by Suwabe Junichi.
