The Glue Factory
Re: The Glue Factory
Are you telling us not to steal your Apple Bloom inspired fursona, 'soup?
Because I'm pretty sure nobody was going to do that.

Re: The Glue Factory
I don't get it.
Re: The Glue Factory
So they've officially released a soundtrack now. Hooray!
Looks like only season 1 and 2 songs thus far. I imagine if this sells well we'll see more. I hope the extended version of "I've Got to Find a Way" that Daniel Ingram said exists will be released. That remains my favorite song so far from the show.
At least until whenever Luna gets a song.

Re: The Glue Factory
so latest episode
anyway that was a great episode. Like all the CMC episodes. And I kind of want to write a fanfic where Diamond Tiara gets a Death Note, what with her expert manipulation of ponies' vulnerabilities.
Re: The Glue Factory
I enjoyed it. CMCs are awesome, and I like the character development where they weren't bugged by their lack of CMs. Thus a conflict that runs a bit deeper, and one of fundamental identity.evilsoup wrote:so latest episodeanyway that was a great episode. Like all the CMC episodes.
The song great as well. The lyrics definitely work on their own, but are hugely enhanced by the visuals of all three of them working together and helping each other out. And I'm a sucker for a meaningful reprise, which this one gave us as well.

Re: The Glue Factory
In universe, it's inevitable. But I doubt they production staff will do it until near the end of the series for fear of cheapening all of the episodes in which CMC are shown to be triumphant regardless.
That being said, someone's got to be first... And someone's got to be last. Could this be a source of dramatic tension? WHO KNOWS?
Also Scootaloo will never fly.

Re: The Glue Factory
Fluttershy got better. I have hope for Scoots.
Re: The Glue Factory
Actually they should do an episode with those two about flying. Sure I enjoy the dynamic she has with RD, but I think Scootaloo could learn something from Fluttershy as well.
Re: The Glue Factory
when I first saw that butterfly flutter by I though we were going to get a visit from Fluttershy
but nope
just the universe taunting Scootaloo
I think I prefer the version where she just has a flying disability and will never fly

Re: The Glue Factory
I've always thought there should be an RD scoots flying episode where it turns out scoots only ever going to be a mediocre flyer but RD assures her there's nothing wrong with that and the episode ends with scoots teaching rd to scooter ride.
that's my headcanon/fanfic idea and i'm sticking to it

Re: The Glue Factory
sometimes life just sucks, but there's no need to whine all the timewith good friends around you it doesn't matter
I think that's a valid lesson to teach kids
also that willpower isn't enough to overcome a physical disability, but you can find your own ways to be awesome and so on
that said, Crazedwraith's version is the more likely one, ultimately, I think

Wait a minute, is that a fansub of an originally English language program dubbed into Japanese?
What is even the point of that?!

It's good practice for people learning Japanese.

Re: The Glue Factory
so latest episode
applejack leading a genocide
fun times
'no cider? NO CIDER?!' oh Rainbow Dash, you lovable alcoholic
dang it AJ, you should know by now that Twilight's unicorn witchcraft isn't to be trusted
well that was a pretty good episode, it touched on a genuine real-world issue, even though it side-stepped it. But it side-stepped it in favour of [spoilers]Fluttershy becoming a vampire[/spoilers] which was pretty entertaining so I can forgive that (and I wouldn't expect a kid's show to do anything else, lol)
