Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and the sequel are on sale on Beamdog's website for $15 and $20 respectively.

These prices are after a 25% and 20% discount, also respectively.

And there's no good answer for that.

Yeah, they're charging more for BG2. Which makes sense more or less, as it's a bigger, better, longer game.

I wish that were not true, but it likely is. I know the dev team is small, underfunded, and shat on, but even still, it takes them a while to get anything worked out, and it's been quite a long time now.

I would buy bg1 and 2 for that price except I am pretty sure the second I buy it steam will put it on sale for like $5

So, STO finally updated the WoK uniform, and now you can select ranks with it instead of being forced into a shitty Captain one. And the ranks (including aforementioned Captain insignia) actually look pretty good, with two colors you can select unlike pretty much every other rank in the game.

There'san android app on the google play store that can play BG2 if you copy thegame resources onto the android device. It's pretty buggy and frequently crashes but it's playable. Also works for Icewind Dale, Baldurs Gate 1 and Planescape Torment.

I haven't tried it though. And I dunno how nice it'd play with a Steam install. Might be worth a shot.

Oh yeah for the first time playing it you definitely don't want to do it via a buggy hacked together port

Man I really want to dig out my disks and give it a try now

although I've moved house twice since the last time I installed BG2 so who knows where the fuck they are at this point

:v

So, "The Wolf Among Us".

Played it, finished what's out so far, liked it.

My only complaint is the control scheme, that is binded on specific letters on the keyboard to move the characters (WASD). Unfortunately, my keyboard is AZERTY, not QWERTY, and the game doesn't give you the freedom to set your own control scheme. So it's a bit of a pain in the ass.

Does "The Walking Dead" fail in the same way?
No.

I have never understood any PC game that doesn't let you do this. Seriously, WTF? Well, maybe in the dark days of the 80s and early 90s, but now? C'mon!

Frankly at this point I think it's inexcusable if a console game doesn't let you button map, as well. Sure, back when it was the NES and all you had were A and B, there was no point. But these days, especially with some of the games requiring you to install shit on the HD anyway?

I guess I could try using a 360 controller?
No.
