Did Scotland even decide how big of a majority they needed to seperate?

Yep. Once in a lifetime opportunity and the Scots decided 'nope'

So what exactly is stopping British nativist parties or whatever from going out of their way to fuck Scotland over from this point on?

*shrug* Nothing, I guess. I'm not holding my breath anyone from Westminster will hold to the promises they made during the campaign either.

Yeah. And?

That's as valid a choice as yes.

"Loneliness"/"Solitude"

Note: that guy was, just an hour before, sprawled on his back passed out drunk just in front of the supermarket this is the parking lot of.

Everytime I pass there he's here. Haunting the place with his gaunt frame, ravaged by alcohol and years of living in the street.

We got a call last night from a little girl asking for help, her moms ex bf was going to kill her. No number on the display, couldn't get any details and she hung up when I suggested she call the police. She called back less then a minute later and then hung up when I asked where she was.

So I called the police. It took them about half an hour but they got the number and then called back asking if I knew a Lucy Campbell out of Ebb & Flow (nearby First Nations reserve). I don't, though I get a lot of calls from the community centre looking for various people.

They said when they tried to call, whoever answered just hung up so they were going to go to the residence.

I stopped in the local store today and the lady who runs it got a similar call but heard laughing in the background so it was probably a prank. Who does that to a kid?

The people in "No" camp were generally older, with higher paid jobs and private property. I prefer a Federal system and don't like moribund Westminster at the moment, but Salmon seemed to have had an unrealistic "we'll cross that bridge when we get their attitude" and even George Galloway was in the "No" camp.

Just encounter in the Paris' underground people from an anti-gay manifestation. The father, the mother and the six under-10yo kids all wearing pink and brandishing French flags, fighting against the perils of Gay Marriage and LGBT Rights (apparently they have also started fighting against Trans rights now...).

My blood is still boiling from that. Didn't say anything, but the scowl I had on my face must have said it all. Don't think they saw it, though, absorbed as they were on the idea of going on a family picnic under the Eiffel Tower before going on walk to fight against my rights to be their equals.

Goddamn motherfuckers.

I was mainly thinking about collateral damages and radicalization of the otherwise-moderate majority.

Hearts and minds, man. Hearts and minds.

Health Canada is hilarious. "We don't recognise the medicinal benefits of marajauna"

Then why do you have an access program? Why did you make it easier to apply?

Why do you give me this Health Canada sheet saying this with every prescription? Have I forgotten about that since last time?

Your not fooling us CPC, I'm just going to assume you mean the opposite of what you say from now on.
