Do you want to get rid of it for the money, or just because you don't have enough space for it anymore? Or is it something else?
No.

Space mostly. I've accumulated games over three console generations, and im running out of room. N64/PS1 games can be replaced with emulators fairly easily, but I'd like to give it one last go with the old controller for nostalgia's sake.

Well, you can always keep the controller. I'm ready to bet there's ways to plug it on a computer.

I've never seen anything that could convert an N64 controller to USB.

Oxy, you have just redeemed the entire French nation from any failings it may have ever had by your actions just now.

Yeah, I loved the bots in it, which actually made the game better than Goldeneye.

I still prefer Goldeneye because of the Nostalgia Factor. I actually bought my copy of Perfect Dark on Amazon in 2007. It's a great game, but I have so many memories of playing Goldeneye against my dad and friends, and I was such a huge James Bond Fan.

I'm kinda the opposite... I played Goldeneye once back in the day, but I was always more of a PD player. I just bought GE for myself a few months ago (and haven't had much of a chance to play it yet).

but Perfect Dark is the only shooter so far where I enjoy the single player as much as the multi player. Multiplayer has all kinds of fun, the weapons rok, the bots are great, but single player is cool too. The levels are long enough to play, but not so long to get boring and repetitive (unlike say Halo where they seem to never end) and the story is just fun enough for me too.

One thing I will credit Perfect Dark with is that the AI characters you had to escort weren't completely fucking useless like Natalya in GoldenEye. I still can't beat the "Control" mission on anything harder than agent because she keeps fucking dying, whereas in PD, I think I lost elvis, maybe once?

So, I'm on Xbox One now.

Anybody got any recommendations? Alien is on my list of course, but I want to finish screwing around with Destiny first.

Is Diable III any better on a console?

Diablo 3 on console is the best version of the game, but my review of this may be biased as I was able to play it on a couch with three other people.

That sort of assumes one has RL friends, though. :smugdog:

Yeah that my memory of what people said at the time, and the descriptions don't sound really exciting.

It's just I've finally got a HD for my 360 and have been playing through the Fallout 3 GOTY edition I've had sitting around for ages. I've enjoyed revisiting it, and the DLC has been alright (thought Anchorage was a bit shit), but New Vegas is a better game.

- Dead Money: interesting but you may often find yourself frustrated by the sheer level of hardcore-ness that the enemies AND the envirronment subjects you to.
- Honest Hearts: there's a lot of open environment to explore, and there's a few interesting subplot, but if you're not interested in resolving the Burning Man's plotline, there isn't much. Still good overall.
- Old World Blues: probably my favorite DLC. Filled with completely whacked-out weird science, and ties together a number of different plotlines from the Mojave Wasteland.
- Lonesome Road: excluding the game's final with the second battle of Hoover Dam, this is the culmination of the Courier's personal arc. Expect some exposition.

Well, I bought the Tomb Raider reboot game since it's 80% off on Steam. I've heard good things so why not? Got the DLC pack, even though it's apparently mostly MP stuff that I'll never use, but hey $3.99 so fuck it. Also got the Survival Edition which allegedly includes some digital goodies but I have no idea how to claim those. :(

I don't know when I'll play it. Allegedly my laptop meets the minimum but not recommended specs, so I guess I could. But it's a 12GB download that I don't feel like doing anytime soon, plus I'd just have to play on shitty graphics anyway. Might just wait until whenever I get around to getting a new rig. Luckily it'll just sit there on Steam patiently waiting until I'm ready to play.

Going through my steam library, I discovered I have some games twice.

So here's what I have, if some people are interested:
- GTA 3
- GTA Vice City
- GTA San Andreas

Alien is pretty blah, it's twenty hours of hiding under tables and in lockers. It looks great though and all the technology is true to the movie aesthetic but it's very boring. I'd rent it or wait for the price drop.
