No Blizzard. I don't care how cool your trailer looks. I'm not getting Legacy of the Void.

Not after you burned me with the shit-pile that is Heart of the Swarm.

Speaking of which, I bought Alpha Centauri on GOG finally. And have found it's largely the same thing.

Like, I know there's options and other stuff to click but I literally have no idea what any of it means so I just End Turn and hope for the best.

Civ games take awhile to really get going. I always get into empire building mode whenever I play games like that. I love steadily building up my cities or planets and expanding my territory.

I will but I'm not sure I'll do so right away. I kinda wanted to replay DA:O and play DA2 for the first time before it.

The preorder bonuses look a little interesting though.

I'm kinda interested in the pre order that gets you the bog unicorn but I'm not sure I have the time for a bioware game ATM.

I wanted to replay Mass Effect with one continuous playthrough of all the games but Dragon Age Inquisition's imminent release has crippled me with indecision

This War Of Mine seems like the kind of game a number of y'all have been waiting to play for a long time.

yeah so turns out I had it on the lowest difficulty, which just meant steadily accumulating wealth and power and never being threatened by the other players

now that I've ramped it up to normal I'm enjoying it a lot more

and then promptly quit late game when it became clear I had been pipped by gandhi and genghis

I had a sustained period of unhappiness mid-game which I only emerged from when I realised you could trade luxury goods. Think it put me too far behind the others - otherwise had reasonably good position, medium-size continent to myself

"we gotta go find this guy who will lead us to this other guy who is hunting us"

"so now we found you WHERE IS THE OTHER GUY"

"I'm right here dickweeds and this giant building I lured you into is rigged to blow hahaha"

THAT IS THE EXACT PLOT OF THE LAST GAME FFS

what makes it even better is that at least soap and that other dickhead were rogue dudes servicing a personal vendetta

this is the most elite unit in a military desperately fighting for survival and they spend their time hunting this one dude who is hunting them

why not fight the war you clowns

My XBox 360 just disconnected from the internet and when I tried to connect, then reset it, signing into the Xbox accounts seemed to take far too long. At first I assumed my archaic cream coloured 360 was dying (but no red ring of death). Apparently Xbox Live is down nationwide, if not worldwide, with criminal hackers taking the credit (or it could just be the Christmas internet overload I've gotten use to in the past couple of years). I had similar IT woes with Parcel Farce the very same day.
