That article is surprising, though, since the impression I get about the monarchy from most people is indifference rather than support. It's pretty funny, because all the soaps like eastenders are having street parties over the diamond jubilee, but in the actual east end, nope, nothing.

So, I went cold turkey from SDN (and reduced here) while on vacation.

I now look at it and say.... why did it take me so long?

It's interesting to go back after a lengthy absence. I no longer feel the need to buy into the group think and aggression, for example. After 9 months out, you also start to realize how many broken people hang out there.

bad: quoting yourself in your sig

worse: quoting another board user in your sig

worst: using the fucking quote tags in your sig

I'd actually switch those first two. Quoting yourself in your sig is nearly identical to quoting another board user, but with more masturbatory self-congratulation.

No problem. I think the video is cool, but there was no doubt in my mind that it was done for internet hits and attention.
