Finally beat bravely default after clocking like 92 hours

secret trailer was hot to death

some stuff happened at the end that I can't remember at all being telegraphed or mentioned in any way

last 'half' of the game enormously repetitive yet still great

Only a couple plot holes I can't rationalize

final score: This game by itself is a reason to own a 2/3DS

And? Do you have anything to say about it?

And? It's a very solid game with great artistic direction, with a surprisingly good ending and a couple of amusing plot twists. I wonder when the Zelda series could truly grow up though and how it'll be affected by Nintendo's current crisis (even of the 3DS if faring considerably better than the tanked Wii-U).

What do you mean by "growing up"?

So, for those who haven't tested it yet, R.U.S.E. is a pretty fricking good RTS

So, Aliens: Colonial Marines finally dropped to 5$ at Gamestop, and I picked up a copy, just to see how horrible it really is.

Man, am I ever pissed off at this game. Not because of how bad it is, but because of what it failed to be. I was hyped as fuck when I saw the announcement, read the preview articles, and saw the first gameplay trailers. Aliens was finally going to get the sequel it deserved, a kick-ass video game full of action and suspense.

Then fucking gearbox made this. It's just so disappointing to see this game and think about what could have been.

I don't see how one could balls up an Aliens game.

I know great FPSs exist, so isn't it just a matter of importing aliens?

That's basically what they tried, and was one of the main issues; large parts of the game were just generic corridor shooutouts with humans. The aliens (particularly their AI) really suffered for the resulting lack of focus, ending up never doing anything except charging directly at the player. Oh, and the story was awful and it was packed with horrible glitches.

I thought it would be clear from context that I was speaking metaphorically about how proud I was to have a phone that could do this thing. Not that I literally meant my penis is unusually large.

To be honest I think it's kind of on the small side.

I'm not sure. I've never actually measured it.

When I said "thank you for sharing" I was being sarcastic. You don't need to share more.

I apologize if that was unclear.

Anyone else here got their eyes on the upcoming release of Watch_Dogs?

I'm hesitating pre-ordering it, considering it would cost me €10 less than on release day that way.

So the reveal trailer for the next Call of Duty is out. Looks like they're continuing Ghost's trend of moving to a more futuristic setting as it has power armor and hoverbikes.

Should be interesting for at least one playthrough.

I'm only interested because it appears to have a 100% increase in future space president dictator kevin spacey.

Everything else looks pretty dull, all those fancy future things have been in shooters for decades.
