well i people don't like to see a lot of pain in the near term of the euro falling apart

and would prefer to put it off and keep the suffering contained to european periphery

also optimism that the euro can be saved

it's one of those situations where, since y'all adopted it, y'all should try to work it out, instead of just quitting when the going got tough

for the sake of everyone else in the world

whether adopting it was a good idea or not is not really relevant anymore, y'know? it's just not the pressing issue now

i know fuck all about economics

but having a unified currency seems like a good idea for the 10 seconds of thought i put into it
