Watch Dogs suffers from the "guy was SF in a previous life" as well. He's a hacker for crying out loud. It's not helped by being given a silenced pistol almost immediately, allowing you to effortlessly pick off Mercs.

ACE COMBAT INFINITY JUST LAUNCHED (in the US)

It's an Ace Combat that's free to play and not terrible like Assault Horizon.

What the fuck happened with Assault Horizon anyways? I don't know why they went for a more "grounded" approach reminiscent of Tom Clancy stories, when Ace Combat's greatest charm has always been its over the top nature with crazy superweapons, and insane levels where you have to fly inside shit no modern aircraft could ever actually fit in.

Were sales numbers down on Fires of Liberation? Was the creative team just tired of doing crazy awesome stuff in Strangereal?

General audiences started getting tired of Ace Combat: The Turning Simulator And Its Endless Sequels.

The revamped combat system with more QTE style combat was their attempt at capturing the modern FPS crowd. All that more or less impacted their ability to make the game crazy like the other ones. Needless to say their strategy didn't really work out because fans rejected it outright and the people they wanted to convert didn't care anyways.

I haven't followed Infinity since AH basically killed my interest in the Ace Combat franchise. I mean its cool that they're going back to the world of railguns, laser planes, and flying fortresses, but if I want to see that I think i'm content to go back and re-play 4, 5, 0, or 6.

yeah but this one you can play with your friends

unfortunately they need a better way of handling bots when you create a room. you can designate 2 or 4 bots but you can't change it after it's created so you have to wait for players to join. i wish you could just fill in with bots lol

Watch_dogs is kind of annoying.

A random crime happened next to me where a gunman shot a guy and started running. I started chasing after him, and he's shooting at me blindly while running. A civilian calls the cops because a crime just happened and someone shot a gun at me.

The manhunt starts. The cops pile in and try to take me down.

There is a man with a gun literally shooting at me in the street and the 911 call automatically assumes that I am the criminal and tries to kill me.

Well yes, I am, explicitly

But if I had held still and done nothing the result would have been the same: 911 gets called cause someone shot a gun at me, and then the cops swarm me and ignore the gunman

The cover mechanics are a serious pain in the ass. I've failed to save about 6 civilians now because I couldn't leave my fucking cover in the 2 second gap between "GO HIT THE GUY" and "THE GUY STABBED THE PERSON"

I am only interested in Uncharted 4 at this point. Though I'm not sure how it will be since the creator of the series isn't involved.

Is an XBOne worth getting yet?

I'm planning on trading in my 360/Wii/PS2 at the local EB, but found I can keep the store credit on an indefinite pre-order, which I'm planning on doing at least until my tax return hits in July. I'm wondering if I should just keep the store credit until another price drop hits or jump now.

While I had justified a Wii U purchase in future because a) it's cheap b) it has backwards compat and there are Wii games I'd like to be able to play the existence of Bayo 2 really dragged that purchase forward in time.
