Been five days since my last soft drink.

Tea (never more than one sugar), juice (the ones with fuck all sugar) and water have taken its place. I'm getting the occasional headache. It isn't as bad as when I accidentally berated a pushy fourteen year old last year.

I feel better.

I must admit, I'm struggling to imagine you berate any kind of fourteen year old, let alone a pushy one.

It was a weird day. Five minutes before that I was in a protracted argument about whether six was more than six.

On Monday I taught myself to change the car battery, and today I changed the wiper blades.

It's some kind of dumb luck when you spend two weeks trying to contact a guy who lives two hours away and find he's having a press conference in the hall outside your office as you go to lunch.

This tournament is fucking awful. Miserable. No good. Unpleasant. Bad. Unfun. Aaaaaargh.

edit : surprisingly, it wasn't too bad. You just got to know how to use a razor.

Tried, but in that case it was easier with my gillette.

I have a trimmer for that but I usually wait till the hairs start poking up my nose before I bother.

My sisters bought me an electric beard trimmer years ago. That what's I use for the "heavy lifting". Then I do the fine work with a combination razor / scissors.

I've decided to do it once every week / week and a half, because even though I'm letting the beard grow, I prefer to keep it relatively short ; only letting the mustache grow, with maybe later the general chin area as well.

Giving French lessons to english speaking people is always fun.

Job interview next Tuesday. Which is good since the shit I'm working on now is dead in the water and nobody really cares anymore.

Also I wish the one place that called me would actually go ahead and schedule the damn interview.

We told you about shampoo and conditioner already, right?

I clean it with the same shampoo I use for my hair.

Don't think you explained to me the use of conditioners, though.

Its only relevant if you start to let grow long, it keeps it soft and easy to brush. Also better for whoever you kiss. Once it starts getting longer it gets nasty knots.

Yeah, even at less than a centimeter I could see my hairs starting to curl.

Which is funny considering my headtop-hair is straight.
