now granted i've now seen that episode a few times and the whole girl thing didn't really go far and never quite came back up, so one could argue that i made the wrong decision. tv will always rerun eventually, but people eventually go their own way


but... i don't (fully) agree. that was one fine hour of television. DS9 is a great show

not as good as STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, but it is certainly better than sex

today there was a documentary on TV titled "Afghanistan, or the failure of the High-Tech War".

To see this Leviathan brought to its knees with things as simple as IEDs. A million dollar truck destroyed and several people harmed or killed with a hundred dollar of chemicals and home furnitures.

It was morbidly fascinating to see the logistical wealth of the US Army and the Coalition, and how worthless it was in the end because they just don't understand WHAT they are fighting.
