totally worthless

hey so adr there's an interesting season of documentaries on the BBC at the moment called 'why poverty?'
it's in partnership with a load of broadcasters from around the world, so there must be an American channel carrying it; you should look it up, it seems like the kind of thing you'd like (
here is there website, warning: obnoxious amounts of unnecessary javascript). If you can't get it, their site says that they're going to put it all online in January, remind me to link you to it

No joke, back in 1999 I went to see The Matrix with a guy who related the critical points of the plot to me while we were in line.
Which I should have seen coming because the SAME GUY, as I was about to go see The Sixth Sense just a month or so prior explained to me the twist, but in a conversational tone to suggest it wasn't a twist, so I went through the whole movie knowing Bruce Willis's situation and just thinking it was a tragedy that he was in denial about it.

Ruining that twist should be an actual crime.

When the winter coat blew off every spring it was amazing. Giant clumps of white fur spread over acres of the field we'd brush her out in

The guy across from us has a Saint Bernard and whenever he brushes him there is fur all over the place. In addition to the massive pile on his lawn.
