Right now I'm poking around different cities to live in that aren't Denver. As much as I like New York it's just way too expensive, but Rochester is pretty close and cheap. But waaayyyy too empty.

Seattle's on the short list, but Boston is a bit higher on the list in terms of preference.

I'd heard from some family that there isn't much work in the Boston area, though that was a couple of years ago.

Maybe not in their specific industry, but the job boards seem to be pretty busy.

I have two children at school age so I have no choice but to reside in the poorest capital city doing a job that tables poorly on the risk/reward

they still seem to be advocating some sort of state capitalist scheme they call socialism that will magically turn into communism if only they get to be the capitalists for long enough

yea my impression of reading their website is they are more like a wannabe Democratic party caucus than a real communist party. seems like some of the local cpusa groups are different but the national thing isn't very encouraging
