She wants to argue about whether her whiny rants were boring. But that's as boring as her whining.

Love it.
Holy shit he's being a moron in that thread. AMT gets an honourable mention too. The question now is whether he'll actually own up to it, just disappear quietly for a while, or continue posturing and calling people idiots because, hey, e-pride's an important thing, man!

Newsflash people, I'm a fat cunt, but when I'm on a plane I don't take up two fucking seats and I go out of my way to make sure that there's minimum disruption to the folks next to me. Though, this is just as likely to be the fact that my shoulders are wider than 43 fucking centimetres (the width of an airline seat) as I can fit in the seat happily and don't need that extender belt bullshit.

Being a fat sack of crap who has no regard for folks around them? Fuck that.

Also, does anyone else watch Sons of Anarchy, because I'm loving Hav's character in that. It suddenly occurred to me last night when this guy:

Was reading a comic while on guard duty. And I had a hav-piphany. It was unpleasant.

I kinda want to barge into one of the two boring TLDR worldbuilding threads on TEO and start asking detailed questions about their protagonists. Not just because I want to be a dick for the lulz (though that's definitely a motivation), but because I think it could lead to an interesting discussion about the relative value of effort invested into setting versus effort invested into character, and why nerds tend to dramatically overvalue the former despite...who am I kidding. I'd be doing it for the lulz.

characters are teh laem. they are like mayflies. settings are forever

though the way most nerds do settings is even lamer

"i have hyperdrives for 1000c and warp drives for 800c and transwarp wormholes for 10000c and frigates with 1MM tons and battleships that are 10 km long"

liek lol

That 1km thing would be cool if it was like the Nostromo, where the majority of the ship is engines and shit, rather then a space city.

the same basic concept- misunderstanding something and attempting to impart that misunderstanding upon the original- so, yes

i just think it's great that now there's an AWO Podcast where Daryl and Gerald talk about something they both enjoy so much yet come across as being terribly misinformed about.

Someone should post in the OWS thread that a miscarriage isn't a fatality as a fetus isn't a baby. That will piss sooooo many people off. thanas may even call you a sociopath.
