Waco was a massive fuckup (so was Ruby Ridge, but not to the same extent), which is why conspiracy theories about it are so persistent. But right-wing terrorists in the US rarely work in large groups or major networks, and this was small enough in scope that one guy could conceivably have done it because he was pissed off about taxes or read too much FreeRepublic.

some friends of mine are runners and sometimes do it but they were out of town

Also, to play down any scaremongering that I've been doing inadvertently, all that we know right now is:

Two bombs went off within twenty seconds of each other, someone was caught on camera putting backpacks into the two garbage cans that exploded, and no other devices have been found. Without anything else, it could have been anyone doing it for any reason. This is small enough for one person to have done it, and it will probably take a bit of work to uncover anything about the bomber from forensics- there are even DIY websites that tell you how to rig up a cell-phone triggered fuse.

I doubt its anything more then a couple of angry citizens. Small bombs and a low body count don't exactly scream "Muslim SPECTRE"

again, sorry about the waco comment. Bak's right in that I was real young when it happened, so I don't remember as much about it as others. I had totally forgotten that there were children present.
