But they're the Progressive Conservatives! And still to the left of the American Democratic Party. :V

True. But being to the left of American politicians is sort of like not shitting your pants imo.

Scantrons are your friend. :prof:
True. I've been administering tests for maths, English, writing and general ability. The EMG are done by scantrons because they're just multiple choice. However, writing is about one page per student and I mark that. Fun fact: Nearly all of these children have better handwriting than me.

This course is actually selective school entrance coaching. Because places in these selective high schools are so few relative to the number of applicants, the competition is very competitive. As a result, some parents spend up to ten thousand a year getting their children ready for these exams, sending them to week long courses over the school holidays. Interestingly, you soon see the difference between the clever ones and the test takers who are just there for their parents.

A year ago today (10/4/2012), my stepfather died. It sucks thinking about it.

at that point where you then all 'do you follow cricket'

cause that's the way I always get cabbies onside

I don't feel as though I follow cricket closely enough to get into a discussion about it with a stranger, especially when I'm eight pints in. But by god the sentiment is true.

It's a long walk home. I nearly died a few years ago on a cold night when I got to the top of a section of the track misnamed Gentle Annie Falls and thought 'I'll just lie down for a minute and rest'

fuck you don't slander me like that

i'm with the progressive conservative association of alberta, not the conservative party of Canada

two completely different organizations considering half the CPC MPs campaigned for the fucking wildrose alliance last time out

in BC the Liberals and PCs merged to form the BC Liberals

in Saskatchewan the PCs were ruined by corruption and scandals in the 80s (like Chicago 'a bunch of you are going to jail' corruption and scandals) and the NDP had a reign of terror thru the 90s so the Liberals and PCs merged to form the Saskatchewan Party

we just stole all the Alberta Liberal voters last time out

and some of the NDPs

so yes I'm a PC and no I'm not a god damn socialist (the NDP were receiving millions in funding from the USSR until the end of the 80s)

and I'm not apologetic about it

but don't try to lump me in with Harper and his merry band of Cons

A different brand of loony toon, yeah. :v

That said I don't like the liberals either.

Or hell, the NDP even.

I might end up voting Green, but I hear they're on the economic right. :(

btw, all thoughtless jabs aside, next time you're in Toronto we can grab a pint or two, my treat.

Should've done that for the interview. It would've made you memorable.

I interviewed a young lady once whom appeared to have taken something to counter the nerves

She was a little too relaxed

What measure of "too relaxed" are we talking about there ?

Anyway, sorry to hear that Biscuit. Whats was that job interview about, if I may ask ?
