Anyone know what tags you use to post an animated pic? I want to use that clapping dude in there.

I think I remember that some of them were pretty cool. Although no examples come immediately to mind but that's because, well, it was a while ago.

Hell, even Batman has been around since the first week of the board. :v

Now certainly a lot of the Old Timers have dropped off and moved on or whatever, but I don't think it's quite the death of oldbies as you're making it out to be.
You're right. A lot of the "old guard" are still around, but looking through that username list, we did lose quite a few people. Durandal's been gone since '09, einy's been gone for a while now, there was that blow up a few years back that made Wayne Poe ragequit the whole peer group.

Also there was some dude named Kendall who I remember posting a lot, but now I can't even find his username. I think he might be some sort of ghost in the machine or something.

Corporal Kendall? AKA Aaron Kendall? AKA the guy who posted 3 posts up from your last?

Yeah that was supposed to be a joke.

Glancing further down the list, I see another name I haven't seen in a while. Darth Garden Gnome, lord and master of the Secret Gnome Revolution. He hasn't posted since 2007, and no one's heard a peep from the Gnomes since. I wonder what happened to them.

absolutely hilarious.

I mean, y'all proved that people will believe that's disappointing but plausible that mods will ban people randomly on a whim inflexibly using the stupidest of the rules available to them.

No wonder they're happy.

Dude I was the number two guy in that whole thing. It just went away because we stopped caring and the joke had run its course.

That's actually rather disappointing. I'd always assumed you'd killed DGG, usurped his throne, and infected the rest of the revolution with bronyism, thus increasing their numbers.

Anyway, to continue the list of notable members we seem to have lost, it looks like Stravo hasn't posted in over a year, guess we'll never see the end of Starcrossed.

Look, evilsoup is Brony Zero, at least as far as I was concerned. NecronLord was the first reply to Sarevok asking about it in the original thread. So you can probably blame him. I don't know who first started sporting pony avatars.

Still, Secret Pony Revolution is kind of amusing. Although SEPONR doesn't have the same ring to it SEGNOR had. Need to come up with a better abbreviation than just SPR.

SEPONR looks like you turn it to SLEPNR and then we could be six legged ponies

that must have been done already

eta: what variant of rule 34 applies to ponies?

Basically, it's the idea of jokes having multiple degrees / levels of interpretation, the image being one of a set of drawers.
