the enc-none thing was a nice part of ff8 too. turn off the random battles and you can speed through it so much moar.

but to really pwn n00bs you want to use the refine gf abilities. (BTW someone recently said "i wish I had a GF" and I thought of "guardian force" before "girlfriend". maybe my memory is going LOL)


liek tho you can do tent -> curaga to get your HP up to like 4000 right after the opening dollet part

ummm i think you can do black holes -> demi and get your strength to like 170 at that same time

i also think... maybe.... you can do tornados->triple shortly thereafter and max out your speed but i might be remembering that wrong. this depends on winning one of the triple triad cards



after you max out speed, your guy can get like 30 turns in the time it takes the enemies to get one. not even kidding, when i did the omega weapon fight i maxed out squalls speed and pounded the bastard to death before it even got its third turn



but yeah that's awesome. i love the junctioning. it isn't so much "breaking" the game as "pwning" the game.

Yeah, I love that ability, just like the Moogle Charm relic in FF6, though it only comes about kinda late in the game. Still, makes Kefka's Tower a breeze for one of your parties.

FF7 didn't have anything quite like it, though. Sure there was the Enemy Away materia but it was a bitch to get, and even if you stack copies it won't totally do away with random encounters, which is a shame because I'd like to wander through some of those areas because the background art was gorgeous.

yea, the art is great. and so is the music. but mang i need to play through FF6 again... i don't recall the moogle thingy.

but i have so many other things to do right now. and i can't game the way i used to anyway, my eyes start to hurt after just a couple hours. can't do the 10 hour marathon sessions any more even if i did have the time.

btw i love the SeeD uniforms. i wish you could get all the characters to wear them through the whole game

It's in the World of Ruin. After Mog joins your party, you go up to that piece of wall he was standing in front of and search it, bam Moogle Charm.

Why Mog just didn't bring it with him in the first place I'll never know...

They are pretty cool. I'm not one to cosplay, but I have to admit if I saw one on sale at a reasonable price I'd be tempted.

advent children did have pretty nice graphics as i recall

but the story i think sucked. i don't remember it tho, i watched it just once and a pretty long while ago now
