Supposedly the Complete edition made it better, but I don't know as I never watched it.

Really most I can say about FF7AC is that the rest of the movie is basically filler until the Cloud v Sephiroth fight. At least in the original cut.

The talk about FF inspired me to use the PCSX2 Emulator for FFX and my copy of the game. It works well.

Oh god X is probably my least-favorite FF game. The extreme linearity, the horrible voice acting. I just can't stand the game, hell I never even finished it once.

i stopped playing them after 9, in part because i never had a playstation 2 in my room. i watched my brother play some of it though. seemed pretty meh

and then i watched this internet guy's video about it ( http://spoonyexperiment.com/category/ga ... fantasy-x/ ) and he fucking hated it which made me lol and reinforced my decision not to bother



but a couple days ago i was in my basement. my friend left his games in my house so his wife wouldn't get rid of them. and among his games is.... FFX and FFX-2

and i bought a playstation 2 several months ago

i could in theory now play them

Don't bother with either game. Spoony's kind of an idiot, but like a broken clock, he's right at least two times, and those are it.

I don't know, man. I thought X and X-2 had the best of their respective battle systems. Sure, the main character in X is a ponce, but the supporting cast is all right (with Auron being the stand-out), and X-2s story is just balls to the wall bizarre. But cut scenes are skippable and they're still great fun.

in fact that's my plan; i was chatting on aim about it and he told me i must see

so i'm at amazon now considering if i want to buy it or something else. but the discussion went to 2001 and star trek: the motion picture so i started youtubing some great scenes from those films. one thing led to another and here we are


but now i'm pondering if i want to purchase some star trek movies too. gotta get that minimum purchase for the cheap shipping (that's how they get you)

i haven't seen TMP for years and want to watch ti again. maybe i'll add it to the cart used. surely worth $3. but then the used ones don't count toward the shipping goal, ugh.

there is a nice set of all the star trek movies for $40. i do love those films, but i have 2,3,4, and 6 burned to disc from my dad's vhs. not great quality but meh that doesn't bug me

besides i have an old 19 inch mono tv so great quality prolly ain't gonna shine through anyway.

I had a whole rant written up, but to sum it up I dislike HR.

An entire day of my time isn't actually worth a single extra-night at a hotel after attending a week long training/conference thing

He also hated FF8 and you love it so how much of his opinion are you willing to trust?

his ff8 movie is the first one i saw. i lol'd and then decided to watch the ones of other games i've heard of
