Yes, yes it is. I went through one in Ohio. A tornado is a hurricane in a minute and scary as fuck if you're not prepared. Freaking out when you're steps away from a tornado shelter, though, is just goddamn stupid. Which Knubs wasn't, but his havering coworkers were.

i was out in california with some people from nebraska and there was one of those tiny earthquakes that just rattle the dishes and they fucking bolted out of the hotel
then again i'm assuming georgia doesn't get many tornadoes so maybe i'm wrong

Georgia does not get many tornadoes, just enough to worry about. I lived in San Diego when the Northridge quake hit, that was some freaky shit.
