I've got a bunch of recipes I've got to post in that thread.

I also made a vegan Reuben last night. My arteries thought they were done with needless fat, but I proved them wrong!

How in the hell do you make a Reuben without corned beef?

Tempeh. With liquid smoke and brown sugar. Then covered in Veganaise mixed with Sriracha.

I'll post a link to the recipe when I'm not on a phone.

But does it taste like delicious, succulent meat? That is the question.

Well, granted I suppose it's all a matter of opinion in the end.

I mean, I hate "real" chicken, I think it just tastes bland. But McDonalds Chicken McNuggets are the bomb diggidy.

I have come to realize that having more or less grown up with fast food, my tastes are such that I'll probably never go over to organic all natural food because it just won't taste good to me, and alas I'm one of those who is pretty stubbornly set in my ways so probably will never force myself to try and like it.

Thus it is that I will, no doubt, always be Part Of The Problem. *smirk*

Nonsense. They're just too lazy to think of solutions that allow us to have our bacon-encrusted liver cake and eat it, too.

That's damning with faint praise...

Because seriously, you can't really objectively argue what I, or any individual person, thinks tastes good because it's down to, well... Personal taste, which is pretty subjective.

Not unless you want to be a SDN-style try hard who thinks everything is a matter of Objective Fact if you just shout loud enough.

I don't like cake.

Or most sweets for that matter.

They're too...sweet.

Yeah, I generally agree with that
fruit cake is delicious though
chocolate cake is also OK
icing needs to be used in moderation (ideally not at all), too much of it is just sickly
