i want to post this on TEO but i feel like nobody would care
can someone explain why they didn't send at least six Jedi to stop Ray Park
With six you could be like, two to help the
Rebels Naboo and four to stop Ray Park. It's not like he's potentially one of your most hated enemy from centuries ago. Or maybe if they just started shooting him as soon as he opened the door. Maybe use some flash bangs or stun guns. Maybe in addition to those rebreathers, the Jedi have some
light grenades.
We all rag on Star Trek for being less equipped than a modern military :d
The Jedi in the forest would have been pretty screwed if those ineffectual droid flyers had regular guns or grenade launchers
Also why did they bring Kidakin with them to a potential war zone? Did the Force tell them he would engage in hijinks and take out the droid doughnut? It's a good thing they couldn't do anything about an enemy ship in their hangar like at the beginning of the movie.
maybe it's all part of Palpatine's plan. He is a wizard after all.

Don't get me started on what passes for military kit in SW. It has some of the most poorly designed, and thought out kit in sci-fi.

Written by a guy who has handled one gun in his life and can't tell the difference between a well designed rifle and one that you can't physically use the sights?
I'd rather take the opinion of a 10 year old.

i like how in Gundam they just use regular pistols and rifles
often copied straight off of real weapons because the designers are all huge mil otaku

They did! They just lacked trigger guards... wait, I see your point.

Allow Raynor to do a line-by-line rebuttal which proves you wrong by explaining extraneous factors which are not present or even hinted at in the movies, drawing upon obscure EU references, and pointing out how since you're a moron who thinks they went back to Naboo at 1:06:11 when in truth they went back at 1:14:52, your entire post is invalid.
Then allow Elfdart to laugh and wonder why people are so stupid they can't see the pure, subtle Lucas genius at work in the version of the film he and only he gets to watch.

Batman wrote:Batman wrote:Seriously, 10 year olds could comprehend this movie. Who cares about the details of the deal Palpy made with the Neimodians? The only important part is that he had a deal. The details are completely irrelevant. The Trade Federation made a deal with him, it's apparently not working out as planned, they panic, Palpy tells them all is going to be well, they go through with the invasion trusting he will. That's not exactly rocket science.
Of course 10 year olds can comprehend this. It's got lights and shit explodes, a rabbit steps in poop and a little boy leaves his mom in slavery, those are all things we can get behind. So lets get some ten year olds and ask them about the taxes and what the TF is, I'm sure they can comprehend the shit out of it and put it this thread to rest. While we're at it lets put these kids on rocket science.
Concession accepted.
