happens to me a lot

i guess the brain decides it is too tired to function and releases some emergency wake the fuck back up hormone to keep you going

it happens to me sometimes too. but then i don't sleep which just makes my headache even worse at the end. its awful

What sucks, for me at least, is that I have to go to work tomorrow, then my parent's house, then home and have a bunch of shit I need to get done once I'm home and I know I'm going to be dragging all day because of my mini-insomnia I'll call it.

Man is it just me or is thanas always eager to jump in and go "LOL NO here's a non-american who's totally better!" Whenever someone praises the accomplishments of an American? When someone jokingly suggested that Lincoln rather than Bismark was the greatest statesmen of the 19th century, he was practically frothing at the mouth. Now he's doing it again in the Armstrong thread.

Mind you i'm not saying he's wrong, just that he's really eager about it. Like a pit bull straining at its leash.

considering how self congratulatory they can be some times, i don't really blame him.

Living in the Northern Territory here, I've seen a lot of similar attitudes.

My dad spouts similar stuff to Jub, about how the white male has it really hard today. My favourite story was that apparently Aboriginal people in rural areas buy big new 4WDs, but then abandon them when they run out of fuel.

He's mellowed, but eugh.
