I'll plug a TV series. It might be an unpopular move, but it upholds a lot of B-movie traditions
Strike Back - but season 2 onwards.
It's a modern military thriller, but leans heavily towards the ridiculousness of the 80s action movie - silly action and violence and wisecracking while throwing in a very heavy amount of TnA. But hey, that's Cinemax for you.
English version good, American version no doubt horrible

The English version (season 1) was a very different show. Fairly serious.
The US version (season 2 on) is just nuts.

For me, 3000 Miles to Graceland was a huge missed opportunity.
Those first ten minutes should have been the story.

Thanks for the recommendation, I just watched it & it was fun (and also exposed a lot of the class politics behind the hillbilly-slasher type of film).
