It still amazes me that he managed to get relieved of command and then GET ANOTHER COMMAND. And then only got relieved not after wasting the depth charges on a magnetic anomaly, but only after disobeying orders and INVADING MEXICO TO CONDUCT TARGET PRACTICE.

And then he was just reassigned to a position with "more supervision". WTF.

I think the RAN still uses the term stoker too, though if Jester's about he'd know better than I do.
