What makes you think you need to wait for that?

War... war has changed.
ID tagged soldiers wield ID tagged weapons as PMC's have become the majority of armed forces operating all around the world. Mercenaries for hire with lots of nations willing to pay.

Because they haven't become a self aware super organism and devoured all carbon on the planet in order to reproduce. Guh.The Spartan wrote:What makes you think you need to wait for that?

Re: Testing Chat Episode VI: Return of the Chat
so i just watched the film "elysium". my take away from it was: death to capitalism, praise jesus
of course that's pretty much my take away from everything but that just makes it MORE RIGHT
the look of the habitat were pretty cool, tho i didn't liek the action scenes much. the camera was too frantic (except when it was in slow mo which was too often lol). i think i saw a brand name on some rich guy's face too which made me think of shroom rofl

I completely agreed with what it was saying, but it sucked. I really wish it didn't because I loved everyone in it and they all had the right roles, but it was predictable and there were no characters just archetypes. It really needed another 30-45 minutes to establish and develop everything from setting to plot and definitely character depth.

The irony, of course, is that the linked image is also being blocked for me.

so photon torpedoes is like the coolest phrase ever and should be every plan b
"phasers no effect" "PHOTON TORPEDOES FIIIIIREEEE"
"mayor your poverty reduction programs aren't good enough!" -- "PHOTON TORPEDOES!!!!!!!!!"
but if torpedoes are launched at warp 9 what would this look like to the tv camera? my first thought is you'd just have the explosion and the launch light start in the same frame. but if the camera was closer to the target they might see the explosion first and i kinda think that would be a pretty cool little touch, to have the whole weapon effect to be out of order like that

Has anybody caught up with Moffat and Gatiss' Sherlock series? You know, the one distracting the aforementioned writers off another show and helped to overexpose Benedict Cumberbatch?

Re: Testing Chat Episode VI: Return of the Chat
The Guardians live coverage has been sublime. Case in point.
"23rd over: Australia 32-5 (Ballance 7 Stokes 7)
Clarke has had enough of humouring the two young Turks, and has decided to bring his best bowler, Ryan Harris, back into the attack. His first ball is a loosener, too full, and Stokes whacks it back for four through long-off. The next four slide by off-stump, and the sixth is straighter. Stokes knocks it away for a single. Sorry to say, Stokes and Ballance have shamed their elders and betters so far today. "I'm not watching the match," says Nick Brereton. "I opted for Alien 3 which is on at the moment. There's a massacre underway in a distant penal colony and no one seems able to explain or stop it. Have I missed any action in the Test?"

To be fair, Power Rangers was based off of the footage of a Japanese show that was actually pretty good called Super Sentai.
Let’s hope they never touch Kamen Rider.
