the ui is artificial-reality style overlay, so as you turn etc all the ui elements lag behind your movement a bit to suggest it's in the 'foreground'

so 'a lot' :P

it looks really disorienting in videos anyway but i don't even notice it ingame

sigh

i gotta grind up the smg so i can decide if its any good upgraded, because it sucks at baseline but upgrading it is really cheap in blueprint terms

man i just rented skyrim for a bit cause i got a free one and it's pretty funny

i mean it's nice how they made it not take forever to load the menus like oblivion and they're less obsessed with looking like a book, but

literally zero effort optimizing the menus for a console, just made them navigable by control stick instead of something sensible like stealing mass effect's power and weapon system and radial menu

then they still waste a whole button on waiting and have two separate menu buttons for no reason, ugh

meanwhile syndicate has all those game critical features one button press away because it can't afford to make people wander through menus to heal/murder people

dumed down for consoles

The complete ignorance of fast-paced gameplay is widespread
Like all those guys who don't know you can move,shoot, look away etc while breaching

The only way for a process to be complex is mastermind minigames
I mean being fast paced rewards TWITCH REFLEXES and the abilit to make quick decisions around space and time is clearly for babies

The best part is there was no interaction in original syndicate

Everyone in range constantly automatically persuaded

They turned that India mechanic that makes fast, mobile and tense combat
