Fluff question :
your guy come from a schola progenium, and he's only a conscript in rank ? Is that a normal thing in-universe ?
also, it says "age : 0".

you could always try a re-roll and see what comes out of it. Just don't feel forced to replace the old one with the new one.

Not really, normally he'd go right into the storm troopers but its just sort of an abstract way of naming your character level. Instead of lvl 1 its conscript.
If anyone actually cares, you could have been conscripted by the inquisition before you went to a regiment.

So you can keep what you have or put in a request and see what Sten comes up with when you get there (he's your guide)

Lasweapons aren't all that great anyways. They get reliable but no auto, where autoguns and stubbers do. Which helps a lot in combat.

Having no knowledge of the game's system, I'l just state my intentions :
I will be using my XP on things related to my character being an Adeptus Mechanicus guy - mostly technical perks, and some mechanicus-related knowledge.

Okay, there's Binary Chatter (+10 to controlling servitors), logic (puzzle solving and stuff), literacy +10 (self explainitory), civilian craft pilot (airplanes).
The first tier is all pretty basic boring stuff. Or you can upgrade your characteristics like I did. The above are all 100 points but characteristics can very. The important one for a tech priest would be intelligence, 100 to add five and another 250 for the next 5

I'd like to take the +10 INT, but then I'd be 50 XP point short to take binary chatter.

Give me 30 minutes to finish soaking but upgrading your BS is a good start, the higher that is, the easier it is to pass the ballistic test.

Ok Matt, options for guardsman are limited but I would go with bs + 5(100 points), sound constitution (extra wound)(100)
You can actually take constitution 3 times this rank, giving you 3 extra wounds.

Heavy weapons training is available next rank, so i usually save 200 xp and hope for a heavy stubber or something.

Ok that bow and arrow is supposed to be a shotgun and 10 shells. I don't know why the character creator hates me so much.
