That's right, Bakustra. While you're making a parody of things and claiming to, Iirc, eat the population of a fictional video game, but Tevar seems rather intent on outright killing you, and others support this to the point where they are willing to break their own moronic laws without blinking...Simon_Jester wrote:Yeah. Dealing with the sociopaths and trolls of SDN would add a whole new dimension to the RAR, to tell the truth.
Oh, yes, and throwing people in prison for a thousand years because they might be disruptive, too. Real workable society they've developed there.Djinnkitty83 wrote:That's right, Bakustra. ...you're the sociopath.

Geek social fallacy #1 is my guess. And anyways, I've pretty much said my piece, so I'm done for now. I think I'll move to frowning over my inability to garner replies in other threads.RedImperator wrote:I can't figure out why they don't just tell you to leave. Don't get me wrong or anything, this is hilarious, but you're obviously deliberately trying to disrupt the game. If I were in that game (and still a mod), I would have just told you to fuck off four posts ago.
Agreed right there.RedImperator wrote:I can't figure out why they don't just tell you to leave. Christ, don't get him going again. Its painful to watch.Manus Dei wrote:and yet you think broomstick is an idiot for falling in love with and marrying someone will long term health problemsKnubfuck wrote:I think her situation is really tragic. Kinda. At least in the postcount rewarding department. The one constant about RARs seems to be that postcount/board position (mods, supermods, etc) = achievement and you end up in the top tiers on no other basis.Ohma wrote:that's...quite the involved, awkward postcount rewarding, dragon wish fulfillment/power fantasy roleplay there
I forget, are rars usually like that?
Hilariously, Solaren just did write a "please fuck off" post, but Formless thought it was aimed at him andB-A-K-U-S-T-R-A wrote:I think that it's more that they don't have the gumption to say "get out", because it'd be rude or whatever. So St. Arglider makes passive-aggressive posts about how obviously I have no friends, and Bean plots imaginary revenge, and Tevar writes posts about killing and eating my imaginary self, and Simon_Heinlein_Reference enthusiastically nods his head and goes along with it. None of them have whatever it takes to toss someone for being "disruptive", which makes this even funnier but also kinda pathetic. Which is what the first Geek Social Fallacy is all about.
At this point it's like watching a wasp land on a thistle, though, or possibly a wiffle-bat duel.RedImperator wrote:Hilariously, Solaren just did write a "please fuck off" post, but Formless thought it was aimed at him andB-A-K-U-S-T-R-A wrote:I think that it's more that they don't have the gumption to say "get out", because it'd be rude or whatever. The only winning move is not to play.
i think you'll find that that is not an uncommon feeling among a certain cliqueStraha wrote:Dragon Stalin, back from the dead! With an army of Bruce Lee homonculi!
Also, I'm sad there are so few threads of interest right now on TEO. Except for waiting for Rogue to pop back up there's almost nothing I actively want to post in over there.

could i interest you in my thoughts on the philosophical significance of altered states in hermeneutics
or maybe you could talk about some random continentals all day
That's the problem I noticed in the RP stuff I did and remember reading. Basically over half the people would be playing out some power fantasy faction that was godawful boring because they wanted to prove how super doctrinaire they were and throwing a fit any time someone did something interesting that might possibly prevent them from "winning" the game (how someone could actually win a game that was basically a forum MUD I don't know). Like, my contributions weren't well written er anyfin' but shit I was at least trying to make things happen and not just form the 83rd clone alliance of humanistic-utilitarian-humans alliance.Djinnkitty83 wrote:I'm making assumptions here, but I'm thinking the fact that not only hasn't he been kicked or ignored, but that people are outright trying to 'win' against him in the game-world, suggests that they're insecure to the point where they're trying to justify the validity of their own world to 'outsiders'. Which is just self-defeating.
