You know i've never smoked weed before. I want to try it, but I don't really know anyone who smokes so I don't know where to get any.

Weed's fucking great. And morphine was fun the one time I was in the hospital for food poisoning.

Well some of my friends have at least tried them and they all say they're fucking awesome. They just don't smoke regularly so they don't know where to buy any.

For someone who wants to join the army, you don't seem to have a very clear idea what life in the army is actually like.

you will be asked under threat of perjury if you've smoked marijauna

saying yes doesn't necessarily disqualify you but it will limit your opportunities

Well I can honestly say that I haven't. If they don't like that then I suppose I can wait a while longer to try it, not like i'm missing much anyways.

So I just got back from seeing an Army recruiter. He basically told me that with my medical history there's virtually no chance i'll be able to enlist. Apparently i'm too worthless to even stop a bullet. God I feel like shit right now. Sometimes I think I should just swallow a bottle of sleeping pills and save everyone the trouble of dealing with my useless ass.

Generally speaking the Army would like you to do more than just stop a bullet. It can be a physically taxing job (at the very least while you're in basic) even if you never do go overseas so not accepting you for medical reasons isn't saying you're worthless at all.

Not every job is suitable for every person for a whole host of reasons. Doesn't make you useless or any less of a person, it just means you have to look elsewhere to find what does work for you.

if you can't be a soldier, then at least "militarize" yourself in different ways

you might not have the physique for it, because of conditions, ok

but a soldier isn't just physical, he is also mental and emotional

so you should at least strengthen your emotional and psychological fortitude

so even if you're not strong enough to throw harpoons at arabs you can at least be strong enough on the inside to be, idk, not discouraged by shitty words and to be able to encourage yourself, etc.

then even if you won't be in the military, you'll at least have a mindset or something to do awesome shit elsewhere

(besides this guy who worked in the state dep. as a courier for paper documents they couldn't electronically transmit told me that the military was bleh)
