I really hate death and "remember" threads. As far as I'm concerned, they are pretty much universally spam. People make moment of silence posts, for crying out loud. Talk about contentless +1 crap. I don't understand why moderators get so worked up over defending them.


And I hate Apple and Steve Jobs too. Steve Jobs was a selfish asshole by almost all reports, and there's no evidence I've seen to the contrary. Maybe my post was a bit crass... but I don't see anything that warrants celebrating his life either.

He used to be a VS Debate mod, but that ended when he started randomly banning people(from the vs forums) without a valid reason and banning people for questioning which reasons others where banned for and if they even looked at the rules and similar stuff according to Thanatos over on sb.com (a supermod).

I very much doubt Dalton or DW would ban for that considering it happened years ago on another board. But honestly I've never thought Alyeska has been that great a moderator on sd.net. But I kinda doubt anything at all will change.

I think he has redeeming qualities because he said nice things about one of my photo threads.

I'm not exactly sure why I should feel anything for Jobs death, yeah he changed the world but his products were also made in appalling conditions and the workers have no rights.

I, like others in this thread, am fairly neutral on his death. While I wouldn't have predicted this particular date, it was a long time coming with his health problems.
